Octopus Reconstruction is one of the leading packages for reconstruction of tomography data. It combines high performance reconstruction routines for parallel, fan, cone and helical cone beam data with advanced artifact reduction methods and an intuitive graphical user interface. Optimal reconstruction performance can be obtained by distributing the calculations to multiple CPU cores, multiple computers or a graphics processing unit (GPU). Our Software Development Kit allows our customers to integrate the high performance routines in their own software environment.
Octopus Visualization is a 3D rendering software package which allows to visualize reconstructed tomography data in 3D. The package includes different visualization methods such as isosurface rendering, volume rendering, maximum intensity projection, etc… with a variety of lighting settings. The package also allows for object manipulation, volume filtering (Gauss, median, non-linear diffusion) and data reduction. Additionally, an intuitive move creator can generate avi movies of your object.
Octopus Visualization is free to use and is included in any installer of Octopus Reconstruction or Octopus Analysis, but can be downloaded separately as well.
Octopus Analysis is a powerful 3D analysis software package, formerly known as Morpho+. The intuitive and user-friendly user interface provides quick access to the powerful algorithms implemented in the package, which allow for a complete 3D analysis of very large datasets (>8 gigavoxel).
